John McKellar - Director

During his 30 + years in the Guernsey fiduciary sector, John has held senior positions in the fiduciary divisions of Duetsche Bank and Close Brothers PLC. These roles included senior management/board positions in subsidiaries located in Guernsey, Jersey, Cayman Islands and Switzerland. Currently he is Richmond Fiduciary Group’s Company Secretary and CEO of Hoegh Capital Partners Services (Guernsey), a family office for the Hoegh family, owners of a well-known Norwegian shipping group.

John has acted for a number of UHNW private and corporate clients, wealthy family groups and entrepreneurs from Europe, the Middle East and Southern Africa. He also sits on the boards of offshore holding, investment and captive insurance companies, who are involved in Private Equity and Alternative Investments, international property and real estate, and has dealings with leading international lawyers and investment managers. John has also had experience in the establishment and administration of international pensions, share option and remuneration schemes for private clients and publically quoted companies.
